How to Prepare:
The yearbook headshot will only be from your chest up. Please make sure everything you are wearing that will be visible is pressed and in good condition. Don't forget about your hair, makeup and jewelry.
The 15-minute Appointment:
The appointment is complimentary. We will take several photos in different positions and angles. We may switch up your hair or try different smiles. You will then have a chance to review all the images and will select the one you would like us to retouch for the yearbook. We want you to be happy with your official yearbook portrait. We do schedule these appointments back-to-back - so please be mindful of the time. If you happen to be running late, just let us know and we will try to get you in as soon as possible.
Ordering your Final Image:
We will upload your retouched yearbook photo and send you the link and password within a couple of weeks of your yearbook session. You will be able to order the digital image and/or prints of this image directly from this link.
Retouching:
We do complimentary retouching on your official yearbook choice, which includes getting rid of any blemishes, uneven skin tones, dark circles and flyaway hairs. If you would like additional retouching - for example, if you would like us to remove your braces - just let us know. There is an additional charge for this kind of retouching.

CAN I ADD AN EXTENDED SENIOR PORTRAIT SESSION?
This is just your official yearbook portrait. Don't forget to book your extended senior portrait session with us, too! If you book a session that takes place at the studio, we will take your yearbook headshots at the same appointment.
FAQ for yearbook portraits
"Do I have to pay for my yearbook portrait session?"
No. There is no cost associated with having us take your yearbook portrait. It is completely free.
"Do I need to wear a full outfit for the yearbook portrait?"
No. The yearbook portrait is only from your waist up.
"Can you remove my braces?"
Yes, we can remove braces for an additional charge.
"Who needs to come?"
A parent or guardian is always recommended to be there to help make a decision for your yearbook choice. However, students may come alone.
"How many photos do you take?"
Your photographer will take several photos in different positions and angles. Oftentimes, we will switch up your hair and try out different smiles. It is important for us get a look that you are happy with. You will only end up picking ONE photo to use.
"Do we get to pick our portrait?"
Yes. You will be choosing your official senior portrait at the end of your yearbook session.
"How do we view and pick our images?"
You will be choosing your image at the sitting. The photographer will photograph you and you will be able to see your images right then and there.
"will my photo be retouched?"
Your chosen yearbook photo will include complimentary retouching. Our retouching includes getting rid of any blemishes, uneven skin tones, dark circles, and flyaway hairs. Please let us know if you have any specific instructions for your retouching. There may be a charge for any extreme retouching.
"when will my photos be ready to view?"
You will be choosing your official yearbook portrait at the time of your sitting. We will then retouch your choice and upload it the school. At the same time we upload it to our website so that you can purchase the image if you wish.
"How do I buy prints?"
Once you have chosen your official senior portrait, we will retouch it and send it to the school. Shortly after that we will put your portrait up online for you to purchase. We will send you an email notifying you when it is up and what the password is.
"can I have the digitals?"
Yes, you can purchase a digital copy of your official senior portrait. If you are doing an extended session with us, we also have collections that include all the digital images.
"do you do senior pages?"
Yes, if you have your extended session with us, we can create a custom designed senior ad for your yearbook. We can even include images of your childhood, friends, family, sports and travel.
